Kiren – Regional Manager
Regional Managers are driven and motivated individuals that are passionate about mentoring, team development and growth. With business managers, team leaders, and job coaches reporting to them, our regional managers are not only passionate about achieving positive outcomes but also strategic thinkers who inspire excellence across all levels of their teams. Our Central and Western Sydney Regional Manager, Kiren, consistently goes above and beyond to support and empower her team, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Kiren is known for her exceptional ability to identify opportunities for business development, forge strong partnerships with local stakeholders, and build lasting relationships within the community.
How did you become a Regional Manager?
I joined AimBig Employment as a Team Leader, eager to make a meaningful impact and grow within a purpose-driven organisation. Within just a year, my efforts, leadership, and commitment to delivering strong outcomes were recognised, and I was promoted to the role of Area Manager. This transition marked a significant milestone in my career, allowing me to take on broader responsibilities and lead multiple teams across different locations.
Over the following year, my dedication to driving results and fostering a positive, high-performing culture led to another exciting opportunity—I was promoted to Regional Manager.
The career progression at AimBig has been nothing short of amazing. The organisation truly values internal growth, supports professional development, and empowers its people to reach their full potential. I’m incredibly proud of the journey so far and grateful to be part of a company that invests in its people and celebrates success at every level.
What are your day-to-day duties as a Regional Manager?
As a Regional Manager, I am involved in overseeing operations and service delivery of Disability employment services contracts across 3 regions, including 13 offices. Managing a team of 11 staff, I assist my staff with vulnerable participants with disabilities in finding suitable and meaningful employment. Part of this is identifying skill gaps and looking at suitable courses for them to undertake and up-skill. I put a lot of time into mentoring and counselling my team and supporting participants who walk through the AimBig doors.
What do you love about being a Regional Manager?
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role is supporting our vulnerable participants in finding meaningful and sustainable employment.
A key part of this journey involves networking with local businesses and community organisations that are equally committed to creating inclusive opportunities. Building these partnerships not only opens doors for our participants but also strengthens community ties and promotes social responsibility across industries.
Another incredible perk of my role is the privilege of leading a dedicated team of Business Managers and Team Leaders who share the same passion for making a difference. Their energy, compassion, and drive to deliver results with heart make every day inspiring. Together, we focus on delivering performance with a purpose—balancing strong outcomes with genuine care for the people and communities we serve. Delivering performance with a purpose!
