Meet the A Team – Vicky

In the latest of our staff series, we’ll be introducing you to some of the lovely staff that work at AimBig Employment. 

In this edition of Meet The Team, we’ll introduce you to Vicky, one of the Job Coaches based in Crows Nest, QLD. Everyone, meet Vicky!

Why did you choose to work in Employment Services?

Employment Services chose me. I was a job seeker in 2018 and my Job Active provider had an administration role available. My Job Coach at the time put me forward and I got the job. First ever reception work and I absolutely loved it!

What does a day in the life of your role look like?

Firstly, I drive half an hour to work, I open up the office, fire up the laptop, attend a Microsoft Teams meeting with some of my AimBig colleagues. Then I check who I am expecting in for the day. Following this, I conduct appointments, add file notes, raise expenses, book future appointments, and lastly see what I can do to progress payments and track for outcomes.

What do you love about your role?

I have a great bunch of people on my case load that I love to speak to when they come in for their appointment.  I am even more thrilled when they are able to ultimately land a job!

What is a fun fact about yourself that people may not know?

I am past retirement age and I still love working!
