Workforce Australia is Here!
Starting on 1 July, Workforce Australia will be the new employment service delivered by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment.
Replacing jobactive, Workforce Australia can support job seekers to find a job they love, while also assisting employers to recruit passionate, job ready talent.
We will work across the Darling Downs and MacKay regions and liaise closely with employers to understand their needs, – we play an active role in addressing skill shortages in the region and boosting productive capacity.
I’m a job seeker, what does this mean for me?
Workforce Australia employment services will give individuals the knowledge and tools they need to get a job, learn new skills, or access the extra support if they need it. For job seekers requiring extra support, you will be serviced by an Employment Service Provider to support you into finding work.
Taking the next step in your career can be challenging, but with AimBig Employment’s support, you can charge ahead with confidence. We can help you identify employment opportunities and provide assistance so you can excel.
I’m an employer, what does this mean for me?
Workforce Australia will support business and industry with tailored recruitment and workforce planning. The new service will streamline how businesses find and hire the right people, with the right skills at the right time.
For employers looking to minimise effort and reduce costs, our cost-free recruitment services can find your next top performer, where our teams are focused on listening to your requirements and finding you a great match, both professionally and culturally.
Hiring from the Workforce Australia talent pool also means you have access to wage subsidies through The Employment Fund to help offset the cost of onboarding and training.
We are so excited to deliver these services and look forward to supporting more Australians into meaningful employment, as well as recruiting fantastic team members for our employer network.
