Meet the A Team – Trish

In our latest of our staff series, we’ll be introducing you to some of our superb staff at AimBig Employment. Within this article, we’ll introduce you to Trish, one of our fantastic team leaders in the Plenty area of Victoria. Everyone, meet Trish!

Why did you choose to work in Employment Services?

I have always been a people’s person and Employment Services drew me in as making a difference in a person’s life is a highlight for me.

What does a day in the life of your role look like?

Each morning I start with a Teams meeting with my team , which sets the tone for the day. I make myself available for my staff and I usually will be at one of my 5 sites each day. I”ve assisted in the West where required.

I go where the day takes me.

Can you recall a time when you helped a participant?

Recent times have taken me to all the way to Outback Queensland, specifically to a Small Country town in the Darling Downs Region.
I have enjoyed setting up the country Workforce Australia Office in Oakley, Qld and have met so many vulnerable people .
Being in the country for the past 2 weeks, signing up participants in our WFA services has been an amazing experience and has made me feel so fortunate and appreciate life more than ever.

What is a fun fact about yourself that people may not know?

I try not to spend winter in Melbourne as I usually travel overseas during a winter month and thanks to my friend COVID , I haven’t been able to.
Next year I plan to re start my overseas travel and get away from Winter.
