May, who is autistic and experiences anxiety, faced an uphill battle in her job search. For six months, she navigated an unstable housing situation while diligently pursuing opportunities to enhance her skills through additional study. Throughout this time, she remained committed to her goals, attending regular meetings, and consistently submitting her job search efforts. 

 Nicole, May’s dedicated job coach based in Richmond, played a crucial role in her success. Recognising May’s potential and determination, Nicole reached out to local employers to highlight May’s skills and suitability for various roles. One such opportunity arose at Good Price Pharmacy in McGraths Hill. Nicole personally delivered May’s resume and secured an interview, leading to a job opportunity.

Today, May is thriving in her new role at Good Price Pharmacy, working just above her benchmark hours. The fast-paced and competitive environment is a perfect fit for her, and she has quickly made a positive impression on her manager, Pravesh. He is pleased with her conduct and performance, noting that May has become a valued member of the team.
