Belinda – Team Leader

Team Leaders are enthusiastic and motivated mentors that engage Job Coaches to drive positive outcomes, as well as supporting with business development and account management. Putting people first, our Tamworth team leader Belinda has excelled in bringing the AimBig Employment vision and values to life.

How did you become a job coach?

My journey started with Aimbig in August 2021 as a Senior Job Coach and within 6 months I was promoted to Team Leader of Northern NSW by my State Manager due to my extensive managerial experience, my ability to support my Team members and my passion to motivate and inspire our Participants to be the best versions of themselves through Coaching and offering support when required in their journey to gain sustainable Employment.

What are the day-to-day duties involved in being a Team Leader?

Being a Team leader is such a rewarding role and my focus is to ensure that my Team of Job Coaches are supported and equipped with all the tools that they require to support them to reach and achieve their KPIs with a bit of fun along the way as well.

Northern NSW covers a lot of Country, and we rely on Teams for Communication between myself and my Job Coaches which keeps us feeling not so isolated and working together as One Team. Being approachable and having Integrity are also very close to my heart in my Management Style.

What do you love about being a Team Leader?

Being a Team Leader comes naturally to me and I love being able to support my team as well as reporting to The Senior Leadership team. Aimbig’s values of Customer Focused, People Passionate, Quality Orientated, Innovative Driven and Dynamic and Agile are always at the forefront of everything we strive to achieve at AimBig on a daily basis as Job Coaches and as a Team Leader.

Daily I am supporting my Team and coaching them on their daily needs as each participant is on a different journey on their road to Employment. No two days are the same and I love being challenged in my role as a Team leader.

In Northern NSW we live our Mission Statement daily “ To be Australia’s most progressive people-centric company to achieve the best outcomes for our clients”.

What is it like working at AimBig Employment?

Joining AimBig was the smartest decision of my career. I love my Job and I love the Job satisfaction that surrounds me daily when I hear of all the Good News stories in Northern NSW and how my Job Coaches are making a difference every day in their communities. The AimBig family are fantastic and are very supportive of myself and my Team. When you love your job and making a difference in the lives of so many participants with Disabilities it is certainly very rewarding and that’s the main reason that I love my job.  We really do live our Values in Northern NSW and I am so proud of all my Team here in Northern NSW.
