AimBig Gets Chinchilla Work Ready

On Wednesday 26th June, the AimBig Chinchilla team in QLD hosted a Work Ready Showcase inviting both employers and job seekers to meet. The objective of the day was in response to the success of the AimBig Roma Work Ready Showcase where a significant proportion of attendees secured meaningful employment opportunities.

At the Work Ready Showcase, 32 job ready participants attended eager to meet prospective employers and find themselves a role. There were 7 local employers present at the Work Ready Showcase including Western Downs Council, Mandana, Sodexho, The Base, Golden West Training, Anglicare and Biodiversity.

In addition to the benefit of participants able to engage with employers, a number of job seekers also secured a role. The Showcase  has so far provided 5 participants with employment opportunities at Mandana, The Base and Biodiversity.
