Meg’s inspirational journey and triumph over adversity
In the heart of Surry Hills, an Inner-east suburb of Sydney, resides a brave and resilient woman named Margaret, fondly known as “Meg.” At 61, Meg faced the daunting challenge of battling breast cancer while confronting Eye Anomalies, Psychological hurdles, Gastroenterological issues, and Musculoskeletal Disorders. Despite her health struggles, Meg remained a devoted mother to her two beloved boys, showcasing remarkable determination and strength in adversity.
Following her victorious battle against cancer, Meg encountered another obstacle—a lack of confidence due to her age and health issues. The fear of rejection made her anxious while applying for jobs, making it difficult to succeed in interviews.
During this time of need, a guiding hand reached out to Meg from AimBig Employment—a compassionate and understanding Job Coach. After months of perseverance and dedication, Meg’s determination paid off, as she landed a job as a Fundraiser in a nearby Call Centre, only a short 5-minute walk from her home. When Meg received confirmation of her role, her heart overflowed with happiness, prompting her to visit her Job Coach and express her heartfelt appreciation. In an exuberant display of joy, Meg danced and sang “I am employed,” celebrating her triumphant moment with unabashed enthusiasm.
My experience with AimBig has been very good so far and I have been lucky to be under Job Coach Christophe. I have had multiple health and personal issues, however my Job Coach handled each situations with professionalism and fair judgment.
