Meet Our A Team – Sarah

In our latest of our staff series, we’ll be introducing you to some of the fantastic faces at AimBig Employment. In this article, we’ll meet Sarah from AimBig Employment Head Office in Sydney and hear about what being a Talent Acquisition Specialist entails.

Why did you choose to work in employment services?

My strength is my people skills. I love knowing I can help people and being a part of AimBig has highlighted my passion for Employment Services.

What does a day in the life of your role look like?

Constant calls, screens and engagement with our WONDERFUL AimBig leadership team. Smashing targets and explaining to people why we are the BEST in the business!

Recruiting for AimBig Employment would mean chatting to many candidates daily and guiding them through the recruitment process. Is there a memorable time with a candidate you can share?

I hired a Senior Job Coach who had applied for a different role that she was unfortunately unsuccessful for. As with all of our candidates, I want them to succeed in finding a place in our organisation. I reviewed her resume and I quickly realised that we could use her experience for another role. After interviewing her and telling her about what AimBig Employment can offer, she was hired.

A few months later, she was promoted to a Team Leader and later on transitioned to an Area Manger.

If I hadn’t gone through the old applications for the different role, I wouldn’t have been able to find one of our most amazing people for us.

What’s something people may not know about you?

My nationality is originally Indian, but I was born and raised in the Middle East on a small island called the Kingdom of Bahrain.
