Pre-employment training to find work
Rodney in Western Downs, QLD
Rodney is currently completing a pre-employment training course, Certificate III in Hospitality, on advice from his AimBig Job Coach.

Rodney has had interest in his hospitality skills from a local club in town, and will apply for work there after completing his training.

Trudy felt a natural connection with Lesley, her Job Coach, from day one.
“I have never come across a Job Coach before who is as easily approachable as Lesley. She has helped and supported me more than anybody else in recent years.”
Lesley recently assisted Trudy with her resume to apply for an administration position at a government department. Trudy subsequently secured the role and started at the beginning of January, 2020.
Jules in Sydney, NSW
Jules has recently graduated our BusyBeans program and has now been placed as a barista within LinkedIn, one of the largest companies in the world!
Jules held office jobs in the past, but has always been passionate about coffee and is highly motivated to continue improving her coffee-making skills.
Having Down syndrome doesn’t stop Jules from achieving independence and she knows that having a job is key to that goal. She’s been able to develop superb barista skills that are definitely taking her places and has gotten her dream job by tapping into AimBig’s high quality employee network.

Barry in Hunter, NSW
Barry was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder following a brain injury.
AimBig have been able to help Barry after he started experiencing issues at his current workplace which he believes were caused by his injury. AimBig were more than happy to assist and, as a result, issues within Barry’s workplace are now resolved.

Summerland Farm employs people with disability to help in their packing sheds. Michelle thought that Liam would be a perfect fit to work at Summerland Farm, and luckily Gemma agreed and invited Liam to work at the farm helping to pack avocadoes.
