What is the Lockyer Valley Jobs and Careers Expo?

The Lockyer Valley Jobs and Careers Expo is for local school students to explore their current and post-schooling employment and training options. It is also for community members to explore employment, further training and career change options.

This expo aims to

• Develop positive attitudes towards study and work
• Showcase local businesses and employment opportunities
• Provide an opportunity for training and education organisations to market their courses and services
• Support students and community members to investigate or find a pathway that suits their goals and aspirations
• Provide an opportunity for parents and carers to investigate options available post-schooling
• Create an opportunity for meaningful conversations about post-schooling pathways
• Showcase local community services with a captive audience
