AimBig Employment has done it again! We are the highest rated DES provider for the second quarter in a row.
AimBig Employment is excited to announce that, for the second quarter in a row, we are the highest-rated Disability Employment Services (DES) contract provider in Australia*! These results are according to the latest DES Star Ratings (released May 7, 2020).
What is the DES Star Ratings?
The DES Star Ratings measure how well providers perform when placing participants in sustainable employment through both DMS and ESS programs versus other providers across Australia. Read more about it here.
What areas under DES does AimBig Employment operate?
Geographically, we deliver our job-seeking and employment services to people living with disability across 53 Employment Service Areas (ESAs) nationally.
Through DES, we operate under two programs:
- Disability Management Services (DMS) are for job seekers with disability, injury or health condition who need assistance to find a job and occasional support in the workplace to keep a job.
- Employment Support Services (EMS) assist job seekers with permanent disability to find a job and provide regular, ongoing support in the workplace to help the employee keep a job.
So, how do we stack up?
- 51.4% of our sites rated 5 stars for Disability Management Services (DMS)
- 51.1% of our sites rated 5 stars for Employment Support Services (ESS)
These results are 100% better than any other national provider for our published sites, proving that both job seekers with disability and employers can trust AimBig Employment to facilitate genuinely positive outcomes.
We also rated highly in our specialty contracts, with 59% of our mental health contracts and 67% of our musculoskeletal contracts rated 5 Star.
What is unique about us when compared to other DES providers?
The difference between AimBig Employment and other providers is that we work closely with each individual to place them into meaningful employment, striving to align their interests with appropriate work opportunities. We help with all aspects of finding candidates employment – nothing is too difficult. This can involve working with a candidate to improve their CV, practise for interviews, decide what to wear, source uniforms, assess whether they need to embark on further education and if so, find suitable avenues to make that happen.
According to AimBig Employment’s CEO Marcella Romero: “Employment can have such an enormous impact on a person’s overall wellbeing, and we believe it’s absolutely essential to find employment that really fits each individual. We tailor our approach for every individual jobseeker and every employer, focusing on identifying and maintaining quality employment matches. And we strive to always make sure that the needs of both parties – the employee and the employer – are met consistently and effectively.
“We want our clients to aim big! Going above and beyond for our clients, continuing to innovate, and striving for excellence is embodied throughout our organisational culture. I believe that is what has been fundamental to our success – putting our clients at the centre of everything we do.”
Why do the DES Star Ratings matter?
The DES Star Ratings help to reveal which providers are committed to both job seeker and employer needs, with solid track records for sustainable placements.
Marcella Romero says: “The star ratings are a really important benchmark across the entire DES network – they highlight those providers who are doing excellent work and achieving meaningful and sustainable employment outcomes for their clients. We are so proud that AimBig Employment, launched just over eighteen months ago, has once again achieved such a phenomenal result, backing up our results from last quarter’s star ratings.”
